Miriam Conner has spent over a decade curating art, organizing communities, and shaping cultural policy in Austin, where she's lived since childhood. A CalArts-trained photographer, she got her start managing Pine Street Station, a 30,000-square-foot artist warehouse and gallery, before co-founding Topology Art Warehouse and later launching Creative Policy, a firm that bridges community storytelling and municipal policymaking. She currently serves as Board President of Preservation Austin, previously sat on the City of Austin's African American Quality of Life Commission, and has led major public engagement processes for the City of Austin, Austin Parks Foundation, The Trail Conservancy, and Six Square — Austin's Black Cultural District. To build her real estate development skills, she completed Capital Impact Partners' EDI training program for community-rooted developers and took second place in the program's pitch competition.
